MinION

Oxford Nanopore's MinION is a portable, real-time, long-read sequencer, that  allows sequencing of DNA or RNA from ~500 bp to several kb.

It can be used for sequencing small genomes (eg. viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc.), sequencing targeted libraries (eg. panels for specific portions of large genomes, amplicons, plasmids), direct sequencing of RNA and/or cDNA to study RNA modifications and RNA splicing isotypes.​

BD Rhapsody

A high-throughput system that enables capture and barcoding of thousands of single cells for transcriptomic and proteomic analysis. 

This machine allows separation of single cells into microwells and preparation of single-cell RNA-seq libraries.
